Good afternoon, southern Colorado!
It certainly feels like fall today across our region with temperatures in the 50s along with some rather gloomy and breezy conditions. Thus far today we've managed to remain mostly dry but as we head into the evening hours rain will be moving in.
Plan on a steady rain this evening with temperatures in the low to mid 50s for those of you in Colorado Springs. As we head into the overnight hours, we'll dry things out and temperatures will be rather chilly, with lows in the upper 30s. Definitely a great evening to throw an extra blanket on the bed tonight.
For your Sunday plan on a mostly dry but cool day with an abundance of cloud cover. We may see a stray shower or two across our region but for most of you plan on a dry Sunday. Temperatures tomorrow will make it into the mid to upper 50s, which is slightly above where our average high temperatures are for this time of the year.
The start of your workweek looks fantastic with high temperatures on Monday in the lower 60s. As we go throughout the week temperatures will continue to climb into the upper 60s, with some of you reaching the 70° mark as we move into Wednesday. It will be a great week ahead if you have any outdoor plans.
Enjoy the rest of your Saturday and stay safe!
