Colts rule out Keenan Allen for Sunday’s game in London

LONDON — The Indianapolis Colts will be without one of their main targets for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders in London, England.

Veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen was officially ruled out Saturday morning with a groin injury. Allen was initially listed as questionable after not practicing in England on Friday. He was limited while practicing in Indianapolis Wednesday and Thursday.

Allen is coming off of his most productive game with the Colts so far in this early season after scoring his first touchdown for the Horseshoe in last week’s win over the Houston Texans. Quarterback Daniel Jones targeted Allen nine times during that game, which was the third most behind fellow receiver Josh Downs and tight end Tyler Warren.

The Colts face the Commanders at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Sunday. The international game can be seen on WRTV 6 locally in the Indianapolis television market.
